Privacy Policy

What we collect

Your email and password hash (or OAuth identity), the media you upload, the notes you write, and operational logs (IP, user agent) for security. No ads, no tracking pixels, no selling data — ever.

Children

Accounts are for people 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone younger; if you believe we hold some, write to us and we will delete it. Recordings that show a child are uploaded by the adult responsible for them, under the terms’ consent rule.

Where it lives

Media is stored in private object storage and served only through short-lived signed URLs tied to your account. Notes live in our database. Transactional email (verification, resets, invites) is sent through our email provider.

Transcription and the AI replay run on our own servers: the basic transcript on our worker, the accurate one on a GPU we rent by the hour and destroy after the job. Your audio never leaves them. The drafted notes are the one step that sends anything out — the transcript text, never the audio — to our cloud provider’s inference service (DigitalOcean Gradient), which does not keep it. Nothing goes to any other AI company.

Your controls

Export your notes (Markdown/SRT/VTT) anytime. Deleting a note keeps it recoverable for 30 days, then it is purged. Deleting your account removes everything permanently, including stored media.
