Your lesson, replayable.

Record the lesson. Get every correction your teacher gave, on the bar they gave it, with a loop to drill it. ReplayTake turns a recording of your teacher teaching you into the lesson’s notes, sections and loops, on the recording, in the same player a paid review lands in. Your teacher does nothing.

The feedback stays on the moment, whether an expert marked it in a review or said it in your lesson.

Music

The lesson, searchable, with the playing and the talking told apart

A 45-minute lesson is forty minutes of playing and five of the sentences that matter: “thumb behind the neck, not over it”. The replay hears your teacher and you as two voices and the playing as playing. Corrections become notes on the bar they were said; demonstrations and attempts become loops; the sections are the table of contents; the summary is what to practice this week. Search “thumb” next month and land on the moment.

Dance

Ten hours of convention classes, kept

Record the class. Hear the teacher, not the track: the music is separated from the voice, the song’s vocals labelled and kept out of search, every count the teacher called kept. A weekend of classes is more than anyone remembers; on Tuesday you loop the eight they fixed, slower, until it sticks.

How it works

Three steps

  1. Record the lesson on your phone — or take the recap your teacher gives at the end — and add it under “Add recording”: say it is a lesson, and who taught it.
  2. “Replay with AI hours” tells your teacher from you and from the track, then suggests the corrections, sections and loops for you to accept or dismiss.
  3. Practice from the Checklist: the week’s summary on top, each correction on its bar with a loop and a tick. Share it with your teacher, or send them a take.

Recording someone. Record with your teacher’s knowledge. Our terms ask that everyone on a recording knows it is being made; some places require it by law. Never a way to check up on a teacher: what they see, if you share it, is your Checklist in your words and a line saying where it came from.

Price

Free for a taste, Plus for the habit

Free transcribes about one lesson a month on its included minutes — the basic transcript, searchable, no speakers, no draft. Plus at $9 a month includes 2 AI hours and 100 GB for the recordings; a weekly 45-minute lesson is about three hours of recording a month, so a $5 pack covers the rest of the term. All plans and packs. Against Tonic Notes.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do I need my teacher’s permission to record?

Record with your teacher’s knowledge. Our terms ask that everyone on a recording knows it is being made; some places require it by law. Most teachers say yes when they hear what it is for: their corrections, kept, on the moment they gave them.

What does my teacher see if I share it?

Your Checklist for the week, in your own words, on the recording — and one line saying you made it from a recording of the lesson. Nothing is asked of them. If they teach, there is one door to sell reviews of their students’ recordings.

My teacher records a recap at the end of the lesson. Does that count?

Yes. Add it with “Add recording” and say it is a lesson recap. It is already a summary, so the draft stays close to their words: each thing to practice as a note on the moment they said it, and the recap itself as the week’s summary. A few minutes of recap costs a few minutes of AI hours.

Does it work for a dance class taught over music?

Yes. The pipeline separates the track from the teacher’s voice, labels song vocals and keeps them out of search, and hears the counts the teacher called over the music.
